...she was of my age but considerably more fragile-looking and clutching a jute bag containing of an assortment of pens,a short distance away,a young boy of about five was pleading his mother to buy him a coloured pen which he liked from the same girl.his mother just looked towards the girl, gave her a nasty look and told her son, "child, these roadside people are greedy. they will do anything for money.those pens are bad,they will not work! come,i will buy you something else from a nice shop.". the pair of them left.but that certainly wasnt true and the girl was just trying to earn some money to survive!some other people who had heard the conversation too shook their heads at her foolishness and left after some time.
