since we want the equation whose roots are the squares of the roots
let f(x)=x^4+3x+8
then the required equation is f(rootx)=0
(rootx)^4+3(rootx)+8=0
x^2+8= -3(rootx)
squaring on both sides
x^4+64+16x^2 = 9x
x^4+16x^2-9x+64=0
