Loamy soil has small soil particles that are neither very loosely packed nor very tightly. Thus it can hold both air and water adequately and so is the best topsoil for growing plants

Loam is the best soil for growing plants because it contain sand ,clay and silt in a balance manner and they together desirable characteristics and due to different sizes of these soils the space between them is sufficient for air and water for penetrating. it has higher Ph and calcium level.
