the Bible tells us we all are sinners. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) And death is the reward for our sin. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23) This verse continues to read: “but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. (Romans 6:23)

How can I attain this eternal life? The answer is simple and is clearly stated in the Bible in several places. Please see below: 
1. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
2. Because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: (Romans 10:9)
3. For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no man should glory. (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
4. Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me.
