The big bang theory states that about 13.7 billion years ago all the matter in the Universe was concentrated into a single incredibly tiny point.

This theory began to enlarge rapidly in a hot explosion. Even then, It is still expanding today.

In simple words, It is the cosmological model for the universe from the earliest periods through its subsequent.

It is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment.

according to big bang theory a huge ball of asteroid or meteor came towards earth it was a long time ago and till then dinosaurs were living with cockroaches.
in that the big rocks came with high speed towards earth and banged with a big explosion due to which its known as big bang.. In this all the dinosaurs died.
