Hey there !

The Kinetic energy of a satellite revolving around the planet in a circular orbit is due to its orbital motion, so, the formula for K.E. of a revolving satellite is given as,

K.E. = [GMm]/2r ….. (i)

B.E. = [the energy of the satellite at infinity] – [the energy of the satellite in its orbit]

⇒ B.E. = 0 - [- (GMm)/2r]

⇒B.E. = [GMm]/2r …. (ii)

From eq. (i) & (ii), we get

K.E. = B.E.

∴ Hence, whatever is the value of binding energy the same will be it's kinetic energy value!

#hope it helps.
