Biological activity of IAA:

• Option “B” is correct i.e. Avena curvature test.

• The biological activity of IAA is activated by the Avena curvature test.

• The shoot tip of a plant is impassive and employed on an agar block so that the auxin spreads into the agar. The agar piece is cut after some time and is employed on one side of the coleoptile of the plant from where the shoot tip was attained. An angle of curvature is achieved. This is called Avena curvature that aids in defining the biological activity of IAA.
