The biosphere is the life giving zone. It is the zone where all the three realms that is
lithosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere are present. Will life continue to exist even
if one of them is missing? Justify your answer.

The area near the surface of the earth can be divided into four interconnected spheres: lithosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere.

As the name suggests, the biosphere consists of the plants, the flora and the fauna and the lithosphere consists of molten materials.

There is also a segment called the hydrosphere that contains water and also there are layers that have both organic and inorganic materials.

The biosphere is a narrow zone of the earth where land, water, air interact with each other to support life. It is in this zone that life exists. There are several species of organisms that vary in size from microbes and bacteria to large mammals.
