We know in 1947, India was divided into two countries namely India and Pakistan. Pakistan took its birth on 14th of August 1947. Since the partition was based on religion, there were communal roits on both the sides. Minorities were targeted on both the sides and millions of people were killed.So they began to migrate -Hindus to India and Muslims to Pakistan, though large number of Muslims stayed in India. There was a mass migration and millions of people migrated, inorder to secure their lives.
