The complete question is:

A BJT has IB = 10 μA, α = .99 and ICBO = 1 μA. what is collector current Ic?

1.09 mA is the collector current(Ic).

Explanation:

Given that,

I_{B} = 10 μA

α = .99

I_{CBO} = 1 μA

To find,

I_{C} = ?

Procedure:

As we know,

I_{C} = β I_{B}  + ( 1 + β) I_{CBO}

Since we don't have β, we will find it

β = α/(1-α)

= .99/(1 - 0.99)

= 0.99/0.01

= 99

Now,

by putting the values in the formula I_{C} = β I_{B}  + ( 1 + β) I_{CBO}

I_{C} = 99 * 10 + (1 + 99) 1

I_{C} = 990 + 100

I_{C} = 1090 μA

or

I_{C} = 1.09 mA
