Answer:

the time period of the ball will first increases and then decreases to it's initial value

Explanation:

As we know that the time period of oscillation of a simple pendulum is given as

T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}

here we know that

L = distance of center of mass of the pendulum from point of suspension

g = acceleration due to gravity

now we know that due to pin hole at the bottom water leaks out continuously

so here we can say that center of mass of the ball will first go down due to water leakage and when ball gets complete empty it's center of mass again goes up to its initial position

So here the time period of the ball will first increases and then decreases to it's initial value

We have formula for Time period of Pendulum :

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\sf{T \: = \: 2 \pi \sqrt{\dfrac{l}{g}}}}}}

Where,

➠ l is length

➠ g is gravitational force

➠T is time period

If a hole is made on the hollow sphere then the water will come out from that hole and water will come out until the sphere gots completely empty.

So, if the water is inside the sphere then it became heavier and when the water comes out of the sphere completely then it's weight will reach to the initial weight.

So, time period of pendulum first increases as increase in the weight and decreases when water is completely out of the pendulum (hollow bob).
