The length of the simple pendulum is r=1m

The mass of the bob is m=0.1kg

The speed of the bob at the lowest point is v=1.4m/s

AT the lowest point, the weight of the bob and the centripetal force combines to gives the tension developed in the string.

T=Mg+ Mv²/r

T=(0.1×9.8)+( 10.1×1.4 2 )

T=1.176N
