distance is the actual path length between final and initial point so

The distance covered is half the circumference means 2πr/2 or πr

but the displacement is the minimum shortest path which is a straight line in this case the diameter or 2r

ratio= πr/2r

π/r

Answer:

DISTANCE TRAVELLED: πr

DISPLACEMENT: 2×radius = 2r

THEREFORE RATIO = πr : 2r
