In the attached image, force Mg is acted upon the Mass m downwards. So, in this case, Mass Mg will have its two components as shown in the figure;

          Component 1; Mg sin∅

          Component 2; Mg cos∅

Since, Mg cos∅ is a normal force, so it has nothing to do with the force acting on mass m. Also, the tension force is acting through the spring on mass m completely opposite to Mg sin∅. So, we conclude from the attached image that;-

      Tension Force, T = Mg sin∅

             T = 5 × 10 × sin 30°

             T = 50 × 1/2

            T = 25 N

Therefore, the spring balances measures tension force of 25 N.
