The body of sponges does not possess tissue level of organisation though

The sponges possess cellular level of organization. It is mainly seen in the phylum of porifera. Their cells are differentiated for performing different fuctions but do not form tissues.Instead they have a perforated body wall which helps in the entry and exit of water.
