The relation between centigrade and Fahrenheit scale is given by:

C/5 =(F-32) /9

where C is the temperature in centigrade scale and F is the temperature in Fahrenheit scale.

Body temperature is 98.4 0 F So, C/5 =98.4-32/9 = 7.37.

Therefore, BODY temperature in Fahrenheit is C = 5X 7.37=36.88.

Required answer is body temperature is 36.88 in centigrade scale.

Answer:36.9 degree Celsius

Explanation:degree fahrenheit =9/5 *degree Celsius +32°

Given °F=98.4°F

,let the temperature on Celsius scale be x.

Then 98.4°F=9/5(x°c)+32°

98.4-32=9/5(x)

66.4 =9/5x

66.4*5=9x

66.4*5 =x

---------

9

=36.9°c
