The cold blooded animals for eg the reptiles and the fishes do not have the ability to maintain their body temperatures . As they are lower animals .
So their body temp changes acc to the outer cond.
that is why it is said that if u want to check the body temp of a cold blooded animal just check the temp of the surrounding in which it is living
