The boiling point of any pure liquid at a pressure of 76 cm of Mercury
is sharp and can be used for finding the purity of a liquid.
Could some1 please explain this in easy way. Thanks​

purity of a liquid depends on its boiling point . if the boiling point is fixed in a substance then it is a pure substance . for exp water has a boiling point of 100 degree Celsius. but if there if any other substance present in water which makes it impure then it boiling point will differ from 100 degree to 102 or 103

hence purity of a substance depends on its boiling point
