The Boiling Point of Benzene is 353.23 K. When 1.80 Gram of Non-volatile Solute Was Dissolved in 90 Gram of Benzene, the Boiling Point is Raised to 354.11 K. Calculate the Molar Mass of Solute.

Given,

Weight of solute = 1.80g

Weight of solvent = 90 g

Kb for benzene = 2.53 K kg/ mole

Suppose Molar weight of solute = x g

Boiling point elevation = 354.11  K - 353.23K = 0.88 K

Tb =Kb * M  

M= 1.80*1000/x*90

0.88 = 1.80*1000/x*90

x = 1.80*1000/0.88*90

on solving this u will get the ans.
