The boiling point of n- butyl alcohol is 118 o C and tertiary butyl alcohol is 83 oC

boiling point increases as surface area increase. Here the surface area of n-butyl alcohol is greater than tertiary butyl alcohol therefore n-butyl alcohol has greater boiling point
