The boiling point of water is 100 degree celsius to express it in SI unit i.e. Kelvin we should add 273 to it as there are 273 degree Kelvin in 1 degree celsius.

As you know The SI unit of temperature is kelvin
it is denoted by "K"
To convert Celsius into kelvin
add 273.15 in it .
