if you know molecular orbital theory then you will get understandable answer-

H2 molecule=2 electron in bonding molecular orbital so bond order will be

1/2(2-0)=1

H2+ ion's electron is in also bonding molecular orbital but only 1

so bond order be

1/2(1-0)=1/2

now compare by urself
