Given :

  • Base area of the cuboidal tank = 3.5 × 2 = 7 m²
  • Volume of the cuboidal tank = 700 L

To Find :

  • Depth of the cuboidal tank

Solution :

Firstly we have to change volume of tank from liter to m³

→ 1 L = 1/1000 m³

→ 700 L = 700/1000 = 0.7 m³

Volume of tank = Base Area × Depth

→ 0.7 = 7 × d

→ d = 0.7/7

→ d = 0.1 m

Depth of cuboidal tank is 0.1 m
