\color{purple} {Answer}

Given : bottom of tank measures 50 m × 40m

i.e,

\color{green} {Lenght} 50m

\color{green} {breadth} 40m

Also,

\color{red} {Volume} 4000

To find : depth ?

We know that;

\rightarrow Volume = Lenght × breadth× depth

\rightarrow 4000m³ = 50m × 40m × depth

\rightarrow 50m × 40m × depth = 4000m³

depth = \frac{4000m³}{50m×40m}

depth = 2m
