The bowling speed of a bowler is 144km/h. Find in what the ball reaches the batsman. Consider the batsman is standing at a distance of 20m from the bowling crease.

the ball goes 144km/hr.

so it will go in 1 min = 144÷60 =2.4,2.4km/min

so it will go in 1 sec = 2.4÷60 = 0.04m/sec

bowling crease distance 20 m

ball go in 1 second 40 m

so the answer will be ½ or 0·5
