He says that the mother plays an important role in the life of a boy or girl. She leads him the right way and always looks after him and stands by him at every stage as a protector. The narrator says that there is no home without a mother so the boy finds his old house charmless without the presence of his mother. The mother is the first mentor of an issue. She plays various role in the life of a child. She plays with him like a friend and loves the child and always fulfils his requirements. The author wants to teach an important lesson to the readers on behalf of the story that we must always regard and obey our mother.
