let the angle between the lines of action of their equal forces F be 2θ 

F = 20 N 

resultant force in the vertical direction upwards = 2F cosθ 

=> 30 = 2(20) cos θ 

=> cosθ = 3/4 or θ = 41.410° 

=> 2θ = 41.410° x 2 = 82.819° 

Ans: angle b/w their arms = 82.819°
