let total students will be 100 divide it in 3:2 =60/40

20 % 60=12 boys adult

25 % 40= 10girls adults

total adults = 22

no of students =100

100-22=78

78% are non adult

or

let 3x and 2x be the no. of boys and girls than we get total students 5x now

20% of boys and 50% of girls are adult than we get total=5x- (20% of 3x + 50% of 2x) =1.1x

1.1x*100/5x=22%(total adults)

total non adults will be 78%
