Ratio of boys and girls in the school = 7:4

Let the total no. of boys and girls in the school be 7x and 4x

Therefore 7x+4x = 550

11x = 550

X = 550/11 = 50

No .of boys = (7×50) = 350

No.of girls = (4×50) = 200.
