The boys and the girls in a school are in the ratio 6 : 5. If total strength of the school
be 880, find the number of boys and girls.​

let it be 6x and 5x then 6x+5x=880...11x=880....x=880/11...x=80 boys =6x=6×80=480 and 5x=5×80=400

B:G = 6:5

Sum of their ratio = 6 + 5 = 11
