The boys' hostel is in the shape of a regular hexagon. How many metres of rope would be
required to form a boundary, if each side of hexagon-shaped hostel measures 200 m?

Measure of Each side of hexagon = 200m

Thus, perimeter of the whole hexagon = 6×200m

=> Perimeter = 1200m

.

Since, boundary is to be made along the periphery of the hostel. So, length of rope required will be equal to the perimeter of hexagon.

=> Length of rope required = perimeter of hexagon = 1200m.
