The Brahmaputra (/ˌbrɑːməˈpuːtrə/), called Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet, Siang/Dihang River in Arunachal Pradesh and Luit, Dilao in Assam, is a trans-boundary river which flows through Tibet, India and Bangladesh. It is the 9th largest river in the world by discharge, and the 15th longest.

Brahmaputra River—The largest amongst all the rivers flowing through or flowing in Assam. Near Sadiya, rivers Siang (Dihang), Sikang (Dibong) and Lohit meets to form the River Brahmaputra. In Assam, the Brahmaputra is also known as Luit.
