Brahmaputra takes a ‘U' turn at Namcha Barwa and then continues to flow in Arunachal Pradesh and after that, it is called as "Dihang river or Siang river".
Explanation:
The ‘U' turn is pointed at the beginning of Grand Canyon. Then Dihang merges with “Dibang River” and the “Lohit" river at the tip of the “Assam Valley”, and from here it is called as "Brahmaputra".
It then enters Bangladesh and splits into rivers. In the end, the “Padma” and “Meghna” meet in Chandpur and drain in the Bay of Bengal.
