the brakes applied to a car produce a negative acceleration of 6 metre per second square if the car takes 2 seconds to stop after applying the brakes calculate the distance it travels during this time​

v=0 m/s

a=-6 m/s^2

t=2

we know that

v=u+at

0=u-6*2

u=12 m/s

we also know that

v²-u²=2as

0-144=2*(-6)*s

s=12 m
