Answer:. 12 metres

Explanation:

Given,

Acceleration (a) = 6m/s^2

Time taken (t). = 2s

Final velocity (v) = 0m/s

Therefore,

v = u + at

0m/s = u + 6m/s^2 × 2s

0m/s = u + 12m/s

Hence,. u = - 12m/s

Now, A/q

2as = v^2 - u^2

2 × 6m/s^2 × s = 0 - ( - 12m/s)^2

12m/s^2 × s = 144m^2/s^2

s = 144m^2/12m/s^2

Hence, s = 12 metres

Therefore, distance traveled by the car within 2 sec is 12 meters.
