Given,

A= -10 m/s

U =?

V = 0

t = 5s

S=?

Using first equation of motion

V-U =at

0-U = -10*5

-U = -50

U = 50m/s

By using second equation of motion

V² - U² = 2as

0-50² = 2*10*S

2500 = 20s

S= 2500/20

S= 125m
