s=ut+1/2at^
12=60×2+1/2a2^solve this get the answer

v²=u²+2as

where v is final velocity
t= time taken
a= acceleration
s= displacement
u= initial velocity
putting these values
we get

0=(60)²+2*a*12

or a=-3600/24= -150m/s²
retardation=150m/s2
