━━━━━━━━❪❐━━━━━━━

u = 36 km/h = 10 m/s

v =0

t = 5 s

  i) v = u + at  0 = 10 + a x 5

Thus,  a = -10/5  a = 2 m/s2  Thus, retardation of the car is 2 m/s2

ii)  s = ut + 1/2 at2  s = 10 x 5 + (1/2) x (-2) x 52  s = 50 - 25 = 25 m
