Let length be x
A/Q
= Perimeter = 2(length+breadth)
= 16 cm = 2(2+x)
= 16 cm = 4 + 2x
= 2x = 16 -4
= 2x = 12
= x = 12/2 = 6
Hence length of rectangle is 6 cm
☆ Area = length × breadth
= 6cm× 2cm
= 12 cm sqaure

Ummm 18 + 2=20 which is more than perimeter and and if length or perimeters wrong the are is not216then!
How can be length 18 cm? If length is 18 then area should be 18 × 2 = 36 cm. and perimeter should be 40
