Hello mate!

Here's your answer

Let length be x

A/Q

= Perimeter = 2(length+breadth)

= 16 cm = 2(2+x)

= 16 cm = 4 + 2x

= 2x = 16 -4

= 2x = 12

= x = 12/2 = 6

Hence length of rectangle is 6 cm

☆ Area = length × breadth

= 6cm× 2cm

= 12 cm sqaure

uday15510: ok the right answer is 18 and 216
uday15510: ok bye
XXXYYYZZZ: Ummm 18 + 2=20 which is more than perimeter and and if length or perimeters wrong the are is not216then!
StarrySoul: How can be length 18 cm? If length is 18 then area should be 18 × 2 = 36 cm. and perimeter should be 40
