Answer:

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (l + b) = 40

         = 2 ( l + 2/3 ) = 2l + 4/3

         = 2l = 40 x 3/4

     2l = 30 ; l = 30/2 ; l = 15

Answer:

Sol:- let the length of the rectangular garden = L cm

then,

its breadth=> b = 2÷ 3 L cm

therefore the perimeter of rectangle= 2 (L+B)

=> 2 ( L + 2/ 3 L) cm = 40 cm

=> 10 /3 L = 40 cm

=> L = 40 ×2/3

=> L = 12 cm

then, B = 2/3 × 12

B= 8 cm
