The breadth of a rectangle is 1/4 of its perimeter. If the perimeter is 240metre, find its length and breadth.​

breadth =  \frac{1}{4}  \times perimeter \\  \\ b =  \frac{1}{4}  \times 240 \\  \\ b = 60m

perimeter \:  = 2(l + b) \\  \\  \frac{240 }{2}  = 60 + l \\  \\ 120 - 60 =l \\  \\ l = 60m

Therefore

length = 60m

Breadth = 60m
