Question given:

The breadth of a rectangle is 2.5m. Find the length if its area is 625.25 m².

Given values:

Breadth=2.5 m

Area of rectangle=625.25 m²

To find:

The lenght of the rectangle.

Solution:

Let us take length of rectangle be x

We know that,

\sf\pink{Area~of~rectangle= lenght×breadth}

Putting the values:

\rm{↠625.25=x×2.5}

\rm{↠625.25=2.5x}

\rm{↠x=}\sf\cancel\dfrac{625.25}{2.5}

\rm{↠x=250.1}

Therefore,the lenght of the rectangle\sf{ = 250.1~m}

Breadth of rectangle = 2.5 m

Area of rectangle = 625.25 m²

Length = ?

Area of rectangle = L × B

625.25 = L × 2.5

625.25 / 2.5 = L

250.1 = L

Length of rectangle = 250.1 m
