The breadth of a rectangle is 27cm. Its perimeter is 208 cm. Find the length of the rectangle.​

Using formula,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

where,

  • b = breadth of the rectangle

Substituting the values,

⟶ 208 = 2(x + 27)

⟶ 208 = 2x + 54

⟶ 208 - 54 = 2x

⟶ 154 = 2x

⟶ 154/2 = x

⟶ 77 = x

The value of x = 77

Therefore, the length of the rectangle = 77 cm
