let the length be x and breadth be 3/4x.
then
2(x+3/4x)=196cm
2(4x+3x/4)=196
2*7x/4=196
x=196*2/7
x= 56
then,
length is 56cm and breadth is 42cm ....
hey mate this much is required
hope it may help u

 \bold{ \: let \: length \: = x \: cm \: \: and \: \: breadth \: = \frac{3x}{4} \: cm \: }

Given, Perimeter = 196 cm

2(length \: + breadth \: ) = 196 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: |\bold{ \: perimeter \: = 2(length \: + \: breadth)} \\ \\ \\ 2(x + \frac{3x}{4} ) = 196 \\ \\ \\ = > 2( \frac{4x + 3x}{4} ) = 196 \\ \\ \\ = >2 \times \frac{7x}{4} = 196 \\ \\ \\ = > \frac{7x}{2} = 196 \\ \\ \\ = > x = \frac{196 \times 2}{7} \\ \\ \\ = > x = 28 \times 2 \\ \\ \\ = > x = 56 \: cm

Hence,

length = x = 56 cm

breadth = \frac{3x}{4} = \frac{3 \times 56}{4} = 3 \times 14= 42 \: cm
