Area=x(x+4)=x2+4x

New area

Length =x+8

Breadth =x-1

Area=(x+8)(x-1)=x2+7x-8,which is original area+40

X2+7x-8=x2+4x+40

x2-x2+7x-4x=40+8

3x=48

x=16

Length =x+4=20

Breadth =x=16
