\bf\huge\underline{Explanation :-}

Given :

Breadth of rectangle - 6 cm

Length of the diagonal - 10 cm

To find :

The length of rectangle

Solution :

We know that,

\sf Diagonal =  \sqrt{ {l}^{2} +  {b}^{2}  }

\sf\longrightarrow Diagonal =  10 cm

\sf\longrightarrow \sqrt{ {l}^{2} +  {6}^{2} } = 10

\sf\longrightarrow \sqrt{ {l}^{2} +  36} = 10

\sf\longrightarrow {l}^{2} +  36 = {10}^{2}

\sf\longrightarrow {l}^{2} +  36 = 100

\sf\longrightarrow {l}^{2} = 100 - 36

\sf\longrightarrow {l}^{2} = 64

\sf\longrightarrow l = \sqrt {64}

\sf\therefore l = 8

The length of the rectangle is 8 cm respectively
