let length = x

breadth = x - 8

perimeter = 60

2(x + x - 8 ) = 60

2( 2x - 8 ) = 60

2x - 8 = 30

2x = 38

x = 19

length = 19 cm

breadth = 19- 8 = 11cm

Let the length be x
Breadth will be x-8
Perimeter =60 cm

ATQ,
2(x+x-8)=60
2x-8=60/2
2x=30+8
x=38/2
x=19

Thus,
Length =x =19cm
Breadth =x-8 =19-8 =11cm
