Length=15m, breadth=5m

b=1/3l

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

=40

2(l+b) =40

b=1/3l

Put value of b in perimeter formula

l=15, b=5

Answer:

Let the length be x.

Here, Perimeter = 2(l+b)

40 = 2(x+1/3x)

20 = 3x+x/3 LCM = 3

60 = 4x

x = 15

So, length = 15m and breadth = 5m.
