Given:-

Breadth (b) = 23 length (l)

Perimeter (p) = 40 m.

Find :-

Its Dimension = ?

Solutuon :-

Consider the length and breadth of rectangular garden is l and b.

{\underline{\boxed{\sf{Perimeter (p) = 2(l + b)}}}}

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

\sf{⟹ 2 ( l + b ) = 40}

\sf{⟹ 2 ( l + 23 \:  l ) = 40}

\sf{⟹  24 \:  l =  \cancel\frac{40}{2} }

\sf{⟹ 24  \: l = 20}

\sf{⟹ l =  \cancel\frac{20}{24} }

\sf{⟹ l = \frac{5}{6} }

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Know that,

b = 23 l

\sf{⟹b = 23 \times  \frac{5}{6} }

⟹ \: {\boxed{\sf{ \:  \frac{115}{6 } \: m}}} \:

⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hence the dimension of a garden are

\sf{ \frac{5}{6}m \: and \:  \frac{115}{6}m \:   }
