✪SOLUTION✪

Given :

Breadth of rectangular park is

  72 metre.

 Size of wire is 3km 48m.

   = 3 × 1000 + 48

   = 3048 m

★To find :

The length of the park

it is gien that 3048 m wire

is used to fencing the field

So, 3048m is perimeter.

Let the length required is 'l'

Therefore,

Perimeter of rectangle =

2 ( length + breadth)

⇒ 3048 = 2 (l + b)

⇒ 3048 = 2 (l + 72)

⇒ 3048 ÷ 2 = (l + 72)

⇒ 1524 = (l + 72)

∴ l =1524 - 72 = 1452 m

Answer:

⏺️ Question

the breadth of a rectangular Park is 72 metre if 4 kilometre 48 metre long wire is required for fencing it find the length of the park.

⏺️ To find

The length of fencing wire required

⏺️ Solution

Let the length be x

So, the length of wire =

3 \times 1000 + 48

3048

Hence the perimeter of park = 3048 cm

We know that

 \huge \bf {P = \: 2 (\: L + B)}

3048 = 2 \: (l + b)

3048 = 2(x + 72)

3048 \div 2 = x + 72

1524 = 72x

x =  1524 - 72

1452

Hence, length of fence = 1452 cm
